From Youth Development to High School Coaching: Anthony Mata Takes on JV Girls Soccer at Branham High

We are thrilled to announce that Anthony Mata will assume the role of JV Girls Soccer Coach at Branham High School. Mata, who currently leads both CVSJ Girls 2009 (United) and Boys 2011 (Dynamos), has made significant strides in the development of youth players. With over 11 years of coaching experience, his approach centers around the players, providing them consistent opportunities for growth and skill enhancement.

Expressing his gratitude, Mata stated, "I am thankful for the opportunity to guide these talented young individuals and excited to begin this journey at Branham High School. Leveraging my knowledge of the game and expertise in fostering a positive environment, my commitment lies in motivating each player to set personal goals, develop problem-solving skills to tackle challenges, and remain focused on achieving their full potential, both individually and as a united team."

Mata holds the USSF National D License and NFHS coaching certifications, and will maintain coaching responsibilities at Central Valley San Jose SC while also serving as a board member in the role of VP-Marketing.

"At Branham High School, my overall goal is to rapidly establish team unity while allowing players to unleash their creativity on the field and build resilience in the face of adversity. I will be seeking out players who demonstrate a willingness to be the best players they can be for their role and position on the team," he added.
