Central Valley Youth Soccer League is committed to providing a high quality youth soccer program for boys and girls, 6 to 10 years of age, for our Spring 2012 season. We will focus on skill-building, promoting self-esteem, encouraging good sportsmanship, & fun for all players. They will learn about the game of soccer in a safe, fun and supportive environment.
- Registration: Open from October 17, 2011 thru January 31, 2012.
- Fees: Can vary by age group, and include a uniform. Refunds will only be issued if your child cannot be placed on a team.

Age restrictions: Age of the players is based on their age as of July 31, 2011. Players must be at least 6 (born on/or before July 31, 2005) and no older than 10 (born on/or after August 1, 2001).
- New Players: A copy of your child’s passport or birth certificate (Certificate of Vital Record issued by the county recorder) to verify the child’s age must be provided with registration and mailed to:

- Returning Players: You will be notified by the Registrar, if proof of age is required.
- Season Information: Teams will play an 8-game season, with games being held on Saturdays, and sometimes on Sundays due to field availability. Games will begin in mid-March, and will be completed prior to Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately, any rained-out games will not be able to be made-up.
Practices are at the discretion of the coaches, and will begin in late Feb/early Mar, as the coaches are identified and teams are formed. The number of practices will vary, and generally increase with the age of the child.
Games and practices are generally held at local schools/parks in the Cambrian, Willow Glen and Rose Garden neighborhoods of San Jose, but sometimes may be at fields/parks in the City of Campbell.
POSITIVE COACHING ALLIANCE (PCA)
Central Valley Youth Soccer League (CVYSL) is an active member of the Positive Coaching Alliance (www.positivecoach.org) and fully supports the PCA policy of "Honor the Game". For more details on the PCA program, please see our PCA pages.
Our policy is further detailed in the PCA Parent Pledge, which must be executed during registration. Unfortunately if you cannot follow the PCA spirit and Honor the Game, we ask that you please do NOT register your child(ren) for CVYSL soccer.
